Mortgage Broker for BRRRR

Hey BP!

I'm looking into sources to fund my BRRRR deals and the agent I'm working with referred me to a mortgage broker. You read a lot about how BRRRR deals can't be funded by banks for the condition they are in, are mortgage brokers any different?

Any advice on where to go/what to do is encouraged!

@Logan Splinter I agree with @Nicholas Covington - it depends!

Most of the BRRRR refinances I have done are with a small local bank while the upfront purchase is done with private money. However, some small local banks I worked with had a "seasoning" period where you couldn't refinance for 1 year.

Ask around and build some relationships with a couple banks and lenders - that has been the secret for me!

    Best of luck!
