Hi - We will be putting in two bedrooms in the basement with a Jack-n-Jill bathroom in between.  Do both bedrooms need their own egress window, or can we install one in a central location?   I'm in Cincinnati, Ohio

Thank you!!

If the room is a bedroom, then it needs an egress window for fire code I believe. So if you're trying to create 2 bedrooms, then each room needs its own to be an official bedroom.
