Should I Deactivate my Real Estate License?

Hi there. I have been a licensed (mostly non active realtor since 2006. I have found that my biggest strength is in cultivating and maintaining relationships and connecting a person to a need and/or a need to a solution. I am finding by being active and licensed as of a month ago (gasp)  that in Arkansas it is hard because of the laws realtors must abide that to work in this way completely ethically is near impossible...hence my resistance in this last year. I have handed over tons of "deals" - help!!! I am not rich but I have passion and want to do my first deal. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you, Jennifer
