Does "Off Market" Really Matter to You

We talk about Off Market vs. MLS properties all the time. There is a draw to the idea of off market properties, but are we neglecting opportunities all over the market? Any real life examples of some amazing MLS flips?

Deals on the MLS are marketed to the masses. You are more likely to be outbid. An off market deal that you find yourself is known to a much smaller pool of potential buyers. Chances are, your offer is the first and only one they will see.

Sellers on the MLS may also be in a position where they can wait for a market value offer on their home. Off market sellers may be more willing to sell below market, in exchange for a quick close, due to personal or financial circumstances.

As @Leah Stuever said above, there can be deals on the MLS. The issue is that "everyone" is looking at it.
