Buying Land in Central/South Florida for Business, Few Questions

Steven Mansfield
Posted

Hello all, I’m looking to buy a few acres in Central or South Florida. I’d prefer South cuz I live here but it’d be cheaper and prolly easier to do it maybe around Lake Okeechobee. The goal for the land is to start a small composting operation/nursery. I was wondering if anyone knew of any realtors who handle these kinds of transactions and dumb follow up question, if the lot is less than 15K could I use a credit card to purchase it? I can pay cash or check but Only reason Id use the credit card is for the travel points.

One last question, I was thinking before I buy the land to file for articles of incorporation and wanted to know if anyone has any experience buying land as an LLC and any recommendations or tips they have for me. Thank you for reading!
