Real estate investment in GA

Couple of my friends and I are looking to start investing in real estate market, want to start with buying single family homes and slowly getting in to multiple family rental properties. Want to know more and get advice about the real estate market in Georgia, which areas to look at and which ones to avoid. Targeting to buy atleast one property in next few months.
