off market no representation - do it?
Hi All,
First time home buyer here (Texas). The landlord of the home I'm renting said he is selling (we had planned to buy and were hoping for this house) and came to us with an off the market offer. He would be represented by the Property Management company which said they would do it at 3%. I would then have no representation.
I know there are high risks of going without an agent even if the other party is well intentioned. Thoughts?
