Texas & California Investors

I recently talked to a RE investor here in San Antonio that mentioned he used private money from Boston, Massachusetts. Before he disclosed that his source came from Boston, I without hesitation, inquired if that money came from California (given the great surge of California investors coming here to Texas to invest their money).

He suddenly changed the mood and made it very clear that HE WOULD NEVER allow California money to come into Texas. He even made it seem like if California Investors would be somewhat degrading to the Texas Economy. I find this ABSURD.

To all my California and Texas real estate investors, thoughts??
