Question about smoke certificates

I live in Boston and am about to sell one of my units in a 45-unit condo.  I have to do the smoke inspection to get the smoke certificate and have the Nest 2nd Generator smoke and carbon monoxide (

Will this pass the requirements of the fire department? I have one in each bedroom and one in the living room.

Hi @Georges A., your best bet would be to call the fire department to confirm with them. It also depends on when the building was built. Some cities/towns also have programs where they will check it before the inspection to make sure it will pass. Best of luck!
