No CO for added bathroom and huge retaining wall
In the process of buying a single family home on long island that was build in 1925. Its being sold by a flipper, and we have the mortgage and were ready to close. But our lawyer after ordering a new title report found the 2nd bathroom to have been added on without a CO and apparently used to be an enclosed porch or patio. Also the large retaining wall which looks beautiful and probably cost 50k+ did not have a CO either. The sellers do not want to get the CO's. Do I walk, or am I risking way to much trying to close without the CO's? Thanks everyone, first time home buyer.
