How the area at Chicago, IL 60617

Hi BP

I’m planning to buy a duplex here in Chicago, IL 60617 for $146k but I’m not sure of the area. Are the area high in tax? Is this tenant or landlord friendly? This duplex has section 8 tenants in place. One property manger told me this area is hard to evict tenants are tax high?

Both units rent for $2400 so the numbers looks very attractive but just not sure of the area and what to expect. Any feedback will be appreciated in advance.

@Kevin Zhang cash flow wise its a great area!!! Over the 2% rule.

definitely will need experience managing, but returns are there if you are comfortable.

reach out to @Tom Shallcross. He is crushing it in that area.

Best of Luck!
