Our monthly Irby Real Estate Investors Events have become a popular way to catch up with colleagues and learn what's new in Mobile-area real estate news, whether it's buying or selling!

This month we are welcoming Karen C. Simmons, CPA. Karen C. Simmons, owner of KCS, PC, and certified public accountant for over 25 years, is known for telling it like it is while also educating those who seek to grow and improve their businesses. As a graduate of the University of South Alabama, she values the importance of supporting her community by serving on several local non-profit boards. Karen is a proud member of both, the American Society of CPAs and the Alabama Society of CPAs. Her proudest accomplishments include starting her CPA firm, purchasing a franchise, opening an employee benefits company, and co-buying a manufacturing company with her brother. She is also co-host of the Cheers to Business podcast. When she’s not wearing her entrepreneur hat, Karen enjoys giving back to her community, public speaking, and spending time with her 2 grandchildren.

At this months event Karen with take the stage and dive into what you should know when investing in real estate and some things most people dont know. She'll be talking everything from Tax Strategies of the SUPER Wealthy all the way down to how to structure your LLC's for the best tax benefits.
