Thinking about getting my license in FL

Hey BP nation. I wanted to get some advice on 1. Pros vs. cons to getting a real estate license 2. Advance on best ways to get my license/find a broker

3. Is it ok to get my license if I’m not going to jump into selling full time?

Little background on me and my goals to help answer these questions. I am new to learning about real estate with the goal to develop a portfolio of buy and hold properties long term along with being open to doing a couple flips a year. To eventually be able to leave my full time job. I have been reading, listening, and learning for a month or two now and getting eager to make a move soon.

Thank you all in advance, and thank you BP for developing such an amazing environment to learn.
