14 green shadow lane, South Brunswick

Hello BiggerPockets Family,

My partner and I are in the process of closing a property after months of searching. The property is in South Brunswick. We haven't done the inspection yet because the property is winterized. We had requested the seller to de-winterize the property since the weather is warm now, however they declined. My big concern now is that I am being told that the property doesn't have public sewer and instead has a septic system. I will be calling the township tomorrow to confirm. I need biggerpocket community to help me with anything they might know. What should I do?  How does this affect the property value? I can't get the septic system tested because there is no utilities (water) in the house since it has been vacant.

Anything that would help me would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Nauman
