Appraisal contingency for buyer protection
I'm currently negotiating for a home purchase with Convention loan.
Under financing addendum, there is a 'Sellers Right to Terminate'. 'Appraisal less than sales price.' Buyers waiver of the financing contingency under this paragraph will (checked or not checked) or will not (checked or not checked) constitute waiver of paragraph 7 (appraisal less than sales price - ). Will this affect my chance of getting my earnest money back if appraisal is not met? Advice would be appreciated.
