Where to put my money
Hey everyone, naive newbie here. Since listening to BP, I have learned there are many more ways to be involved with real estate than I thought. Starting next year, I will be profiting around $80k per year after taxes with my full time job. My overall goal with real estate is to eventually replace my income or at least have 6-figure cash flow. I realize I am quite possibly looking at 10-15 years to accomplish this. Was thinking about buying single family homes or duplex - quadplex properties, renovating them, then renting them out. Meanwhile, I would be looking for them to appreciate over the long term. This sounds very appealing to me. With how many deals some of you guys are pulling, $80k probably seems small, but if you had or have that kind of money, what would be your ideal strategy? What would be the most lucrative? Are they one and the same for you? Thanks in advance for any advice or pointers.
