Property Rental History

I'm investing in a certain neighbourhood and there seems to be a discrepancy between what Rent-O-Meter and Zillow thinks the average rent should be. I'm wondering what the best way to lookup rental history is unit by unit in a certain area? Thanks.

@Anthony Fecarotta Might be a good idea to look at what's on the current market in that specific neighborhood and what the rental prices might be for the specific size. Good luck!
