How to sell my house in an action?
I bought an investment property in January 2017 in Valley Ranch, Irving, Texas. I initially put my address in but realized it didn't meet forum guidelines so took it off. For clarity, the school district is good and the schools are rated 10,9,9. I had bad luck and had to evict tenants who didn't pay rent. In addition, the property tax appraisal increased 70% in 2 years. My house was listed with an agent for 100 days and did not sell so I terminated the agent. I am exhausted and don't have the desire to vet through real estate agents again.
Zillow suggests my house is $265000.
Offerpad offered me $220000 so that is my floor. Opendoor doesn't buy "half-duplexes". Neither does knock. My house looks more like a town home and the average income in my zipcode is 109k annually. I looked this up on the census website
I am now considering pursuing an auction to sell my house. It is vacant now. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to go about finding a good auction company?
