Buying a property during an eviction process

Hello everyone,

I have come across a triplex that I am very interested in buying. The problem is that the current owner is in the process of evicting a tenant. Could I move forward with the purchase and take over the ownership of the building during the eviction process or should I wait until the eviction is finalized. Can I make it work somehow without having to wait as this is a really nice deal, and I know eviction can take a while. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this.
