Does anyone have a rough idea of what a 1031 intermediary charges for a 1031 transaction? FWIW, I'm in Los Angeles. Thanks!

@Dee Jay,  Don't let cost worry you too much. Most of the national footprint QIs charge in a fairly narrow window for a simple forward exchange.  Expect to pay $750 - $1000 from most national QIs.  It tends to higher on each coast (location of QI not property).  An internet based firm with scale of numbers might be a little lower.  A sole practitioner or attorney with little scale might be much higher as you pay for their learning curve.  I've not seen "Thousands" for quite some time as the industry has matured unless there were other issues complicating the scenario.
