Reserves, how much and where do you keep it

How much reserves do you all keep and where do you keep it?

6 months payments and X amount for catastrophic repair situation? Obviously then more sitting aside not really in play the less your portfolio is growing, but I don’t like to be all in, aggressive intelligent investments while preparing for the worst to absolutely avoid losing it all..

Next.. where do you park this money? Somewhere liquid, non real estate, that is making some kind of small interest?
