First Flip - permit issue

Posted

Hey everyone. Finally pulled the trigger and purchased my first REO property to flip. Going through the motions now and am running into an issue with an over powered electrical inspector.

Property was purchased with no electric power due to panels/wires being ripped out. I hired a licensed electrician to correct all the work legit with permits. But now the inspector okayed all that work but won’t approve until i pull permits for other work that wasn’t completed by me. The bank had the entry doors replaced at some point apparently without permits.

Anyone have recommendations for a general contractor in the West Palm Beach Florida area? Throughout this process I have learned that in Florida if you own the home under a LLC you cannot pull the permit as a home owner.
