Seasonality for buying/selling multifamily
It’s well known that spring/summer are peak season for real estate transactions, does this apply to all segments? Specifically smaller multi-family?

@Kelly Iannone my experience has been that investors will go out in any type of weather at any time of year to look at a good deal! I was even out with investors looking at a property in Berwyn during the recent "polar vortex" here in Chicago. -40 degree weather doesn't get in the way of a good deal!
I think the spring/summer season is definitely better for listing these properties though. For my multifamily listings, I always recommend that the sellers try to time the market in a similar fashion to the single family market. In addition, I like to have at least one unit that can appeal to an owner occupant as that is a huge segment of the 2-4 unit buyer pool.
