Is "REI" a commonly understood acronym?

I'm working on developing a product targeting real estate investors. As I think about branding, I want to be sure the name will resonate with my audience.

I'm curious if my peers here on Biggerpockets consider the "REI" acronym to be common knowledge. I.e., If you saw a posting in the marketplace for 'REI Widgets' would you know/assume I was talking about real estate investment widgets?

PS :Yes I'm aware that REI is also the name of a giant outdoors retailer... I can live with that.
