Underwater property 100% occupancy, loan modification pending
HI All, I have a 'single family' property in Hawaii that has been underwater for 5 years as Ive been applying for a loan modification since then, with no success so far (Ive reapplied multiple times). It's fully rented (3 units) that potentially could cover a restructured loan. Im not so positive that it will succeed this time around either in terms of attaining a loan modification and am teetering with the thought of filing bankruptcy or foreclosure. Anyone experienced the same? Any suggestions or advice? Thank you
