Help with a Pre-foreclosure acquisition?

Hi All,

I've recently been searching the court records and have found a property I'm interested in acquiring.  The Owner has since deceased and there is no immediate family to inherit or take over the mortgage payments therefore the foreclosure process has begun.  So far the Court has had no response from anyone related to the deceased.  The original note was for $325,500 and the amount due is $190,000.  Would there be any way to contact the bank directly to make an offer before this property hits the market and/or an auction?  Any help on how I can go about acquiring this property or make a valid offer?
