Finding Vacant House Lists in My Market

Hey BP! Over the past year I've spent a ton of money on buying lists of different leads. I know there is a way to pull your own lists when it comes to tax, pre-foreclosures, etc. 

I was told to go to the post office to get a list of vacant properties but when I went they told me that they don't give out those lists, what should I do?
