Need Help: Family Member Passed - What to do now?

First time poster.  I am looking for some feedback on options for a family member.  Her husband just passed away and now she is left with a home with a mortgage she cannot afford.  Current value of home is $290 at best.  She currently owes $287.  So, if she were to sell, she would be upside down after closing costs and commissions.   What other options are there for myself or a family member to get her out of this home without shelling out $20k cash.  We know bankruptcy and walking away are two options, but would rather come up with something more creative and less impactful to her credit.

Thanks in advance for your feedback.
