Have a Land Contract, Seller passes away. Who do I pay?

I have a land contract with a guy, we created last year. Unfortunately, he passed away and he had no children to pass his RE on to. So who do I pay these monthly payments to? There’s no such thing as a free lunch, so does the government take over the contract or the town, or any municipality?
