SDIRA Notes. Wish I know it ALL! Ready to put $110K, what next?

I'm debating to take the tax hit from early 401K distribution or invest in SDIRA Notes.  If I take the early distribution, I'll have to set aside about $40K for just taxes in that year.

Now regarding SDIRA Notes:

1.  How much $ does the SDIRA/Note management cost monthly or yearly (on average, ball park numbers)?

2. Can I sell before retirement age, and at my discretion?  What happens with the $ regarding debt or appreciation?  If I have appreciation and I sell, do I need to do something special like the 401K early distribution?

3. Can I leverage some $ from that SDIRA Note?  What happens if the REI property is paid 50% already and I want to take that money out?  Can I do that?

4. How custodians works?  Is it like a company or an individuals I can reach out personally or usually are big companies and I have to talk to them on the phone/email?

5. What if I want to sell? Next steps?

6. Please any experience, share.  I love to hear your story and learn form it!

Thank you,
