Funding deals for less talkative people

I am at a point in my investing where I need to network and find a partner with money or someone to invest money in deals with me. How does someone who is less sociable find people to help fund deals? Do you tend to lean towards partnerships or passive investors? Is hard money still too expensive to bother with?

For the record I’m investing in Central and south NJ.
