Cost to tear down and rebuild
Hey Guys Daniel here. I have a question that I'm hoping a qualified contractor might be able to answer?
I'm looking at a property in Orangevale. Its on a good street with an acre of land but the house is a 1 bed/1 bath 500 sqf. Pretty outdated. I'm pretty familiar with the Orangvale area because I lived there for about 5 years. So I think a typical newer 3 bed / 2 bath 2000 sqf house could go from somewhere between $600,000 to $700,000. My comps support it. They're asking for about half that price, and I'm just trying to figure out a good estimate so I know if its worth considering.
How much do you think it might cost to tear down a place like that and rebuild?
