NEW Agent with a question!

Hi guys! I've recently become licensed and now I'm at the fun stage of picking a broker to work for. I live in CA and plan to start full time as an agent in a few months. My question is, how do you go about finding a broker/company?? It feels like this weird grey area of me wanting to work for them and them wanting to know who I am first and we're both trying to impress each other? Do I email around, walk-in? I would love to go into the offices and talk to them but what does that convo look like? "Are you hiring?" do I bring a resume? I'm new so anything would be helpful!

Thank you fellow real estate enthusiasts!

Amanda
