Put offer on First Property

I have recently submitted an offer on a bank owned (Bank of America) property. It has been over a month and I have still not heard anything back from the bank. Should i move on? I'm new to this process and don't have much to go on beside my agent. I know this is a long process but is there typically some communication back and forth, at least to let you know they received your offer. I don't mind waiting but it would be nice to know they are at least considering my offer.

Please clarify.

Did you submit directly to the listing broker or do you have a buyers broker representing you that submitted it through??

If you did the listing broker most likely they are NOT representing you unless DUAL AGENCY is allowed in their state.Even if it is I wouldn't consider that representation.

No way on an REO it would take a month for an answer. Are you sure this isn't a short sale requiring a BOA approval??

Even if there was an REO delay because of the robo fiasco they would have let you know.Something isn't adding up.
