First time buyer/investor looking in Seattle/Tacoma area

Hello BiggerPockets members,

My Name is Jed and I work in tech. I'm originally from San Francisco, but currently living abroad between London and Beijing. I am currently looking to invest in properties in Seattle/Tacoma area. I've started to read several books and prepare myself to dive in to investing in real estate. I'm looking to do vacation rentals or buy and hold properties to rent out to long term renters.

I've never purchased a home, but I am looking to invest as I am currently working as an expat with the company covering most of my living expenses. Ideally, I would like to work with a property management company that can manage finding tenants and the day to day maintenance of the property. Looking forward to hearing from some of the registered members on this site.
