How can I make this deal happen?
Hello BP, I’d like to ask for some advice. As I was driving around Miami yesterday, I came upon a condemned and boarded up commercial property in an A-class neighborhood and thought about how great it would be to buy it and fix it up.
I looked up the tax records and any other information I could find and discovered that it was a motel that was condemned after many code violations resulting in injuries. It has a total of 58 units and the land value is a little under $1.2 million.
I don’t have any deals under my belt yet and definitely do not have the funds to make a deal like this happen. However I would hate to see this opportunity pass me by. I’d definitely do a full gut rehab and turn it into an apartment building.
How would you guys suggest I go about making this happen?
