Lower offers not getting accepted
I am just starting to make offers and noticing that the list price is consistently around 30% more then the price that makes sense that works with the rental calculator.
Should I make many offers and try to see if I can get someone to accept? One realtor stopped working with me because she thought I could not get houses by bidding 30% lower. I am not sure what to do because the numbers don’t work if I come up in my price, but I am starting to feel discouraged that I will get a place.
It seems like the maker is slowing down, but prices are staying high, even when they have been on the market for more than 90days. The typical house is selling for 130k, rent is 1200, year built 1920. I am bidding 90k and lower.
