First Contact with “Sellers”
Tampa, FL:
I am extremely new to buying property. I bought my first house with no money out of pocket (actually got $600 because property taxes are paid in arrears and got seller to pay all closing costs ). Due to divorce I am starting all over fresh. I am barely scraping by in my small startup type business that I love and am building. I am currently renting 2 properties: an apartment and a business location. My 1st goal is to pick one and move to an ownership position. I have no money and unusable credit. I believe I need to find a no-money down seller-financed deal to use and improve. I have been scouting the area for potential properties that could be deals or made into one. I have 2 questions: which property would you try to focus on first (business location or home), and what would your first contact look like?
