Locating Property Owners in Canada (London, Ontario)

Greetings, I primarily wholesale, Fix & Flip, & buy/hold in the states. I am in London, Ontario for some time, and I drove around looking for distressed properties. I found a few, but can't seem to find the database to locate the owner. How does that work here in Canada? Is there a database that someone besides a realtor can use to locate an owner? Somebody told me I may have to go to the city hall. Is this my only option? Somebody please assist me with this process.
