Wholesaling Real Estate

Thomas Hughes
Posted

Hey guys, I'm a new to investing but have been an active licensed real estate agent for a little over a year now. I would like to transition my business more into real estate investing but I am curious as to how wholesaling property would work for an active agent being as though all of my transactions are on the behalf of a broker?

Are there any agents who are practicing wholesaling and have any tips for a newbie investor?

My last question is how exactly is a contract assigned to another buyer? I have access to the state and local contracts and addenda  but there is nothing that says assignment of contract or does it require just a basic addendum?
