Making money in rent to own
I've seen a few posts here and there on how people have found tremendous success in the rent to own space.
Can someone please explain how this works? What are the pitfalls? Can someone take me through an illustrative example? How does one make money in this space?
I've been mostly in the traditional buy and hold space and remember reading a post several months back about someone who moved to RTO and never looked back as it freed up money for him and allowed him to do more deals. I understand the basics...a tenant with poor credit can rent until they can purchase the property. Anyone able to share more details in the real money-making avenues, expected returns and benchmarks, etc?
