Atlantic City start investing

Daniel Adika
Posted

Hello everyone, I want to start invest in AC, for what I learned only buy & hold fit to the market and not flips (correct me if I wrong).

Anyone know which neighbrhoods are good in AC in terms of crime, infrastructure and else.

There are agents that work there and can help here?

Thank's very much,

happy christmas!

Hey @Daniel Adika ! Welcome to the market, what made you decide to start investing in Atlantic City? (just curious)

Check out this for crime mapping:

https://www.crimemapping.com/map/location/08401,%2...

In my opinion, the radius around Albany ave and Atlantic Ave are good areas for investment purposes (good amount of development, bars, university, restaurants, laundry, etc...)

Check out the Chelsea district, around the vacant baseball stadium...I believe this area will begin to flourish within the next couple of years similar to the development being done on the Tennessee ave block.

Just remember, taxes are high (little gems out there with decent taxes but not too many) and flood insurance is a must on any property that will have a mortgage on it.

@Kurt Kwart is also a local investor and also has some good knowledge about the area
