RE Investing In Cape Town, SA

Hello BP members, My wife is South African and I am American. We are currently invested in North Carolina and happy with this market, but we are also starting to looking at some opportunities in Cape Town, South Africa. I wanted to see if anyone had any experience or information on strategy for setting up RE investments there. We have identified an 8 bed 2 bath house in a student area for about 2.8 million Rand. On its face, it looks like a good opportunity. The main questions we have before moving forward are whether we should hold the property as a second home, in a LLC, or a PTY Limited. Each structure would have different tax impacts. We are also trying to decide whether it makes sense to purchase via US based financing or South African. If you've had any experience in theses areas, I'd love to chat.
