Getting offers accepted with a long closing period-1031 dependecy
I'm about to embark on a journey where I'll be making offers on houses with a long closing period of 90 days or so and a dependency on my 1031 relinquished property selling first. I need to do this so that the replacement property closes after my relinquished property.
I have tenants in that property so it wont sell for a few months, but I want to buy during the winter while prices are depressed.
Wish me luck, I have no idea what my odds are of people agreeing to carrying the house for 3 months, but I'm seeing houses sitting for 2-3 months with multiple price drops...It might work.
