Help! Our lake cottage is sitting.

Question...we purchased a lake property foreclosure on the court house steps with cash and did a complete re-do down to studs.  The transformation is stunning, but it is also now December.  The contractor we hired began the first week in April and promised that this little 2,000 sq ft. cottage would be completed by the end of June, then the end of July with concrete promises & fingers crossed to have it finished before school started.  Fast forward to the end of October when we finally got our CO just in time for the lake selling season to close down.  Now we have a beautiful lake cottage that is sitting.

My question(s) is/are...do we make it an Air B&B?  Do we lease it out for 6 months? Do we finance it and get the money out so we can purchase another property?  Do we continue to hack away at the listing price when we feel pretty certain that in 3 months we could have a happy buyer? We are stuck and could really use some advice from those of you who have been in this situation. Many thanks for your words of wisdom.
