Sell or keep rental house???
SFR small, inner city, little potential for appreciation. Over the years tenants have paid it off. Problem is I just put 5k into repairs-windows, carpets, drywall etc & now I find out it needs a complete plumbing overhaul to the tune of 6k.
Do I fix the plumbing leak myself for maybe 500. & sell the house or do I make the 6k plunge & keep it for long term rental? Net income prior to this -400.per mt. House worth 30-40k.
City now has 640. registration fee & 240. every 2 yrs thereafter. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
