Possible to get grace period before moving out & selling house?
I'll be done with a piece of real estate and will be moving across the country as soon as it is done. In a perfect world, I'd like to use the proceeds from the "flip" to fund the moving expenses which will be around $6,000 after all is said & done. I have no idea if that is unorthodox or not. is it uncommon or uncalled for to ask to close, to then get the funds, and request a, say, ten day move-out period or something of the like?
