Europe: Low Cap rates, and horrible taxes. How to start out

Karen Caluwaerts
Posted

Hello everybody,

I'm new to this forum.

I've been reading Brandon's book and learning a lot.

However, Seen from a European perspective, things just might not work out.

I am born and raised in Belgium, and live in Finland now.

CAP rates are extremely low here, and taxes extremely high.

What would make it impossible to create cash flow, and makes real estate even a bad investment.

Am I being pessimistic? (it's not my nature though)

Is my real estate investment dream impossible?

Are there any legel loopholes which would make my dream possible?

Thank you very much!

Karen
