Apartment Complexes - Investor Tips

looking at buying Apartment Complexes , touch up , Rent , Refi and buy another . Any tips or pointers ? I don't mind investing 200-400k but would prefer to use as little of personal stash as possible .

@Mike Bianchi You seem to be playing on a larger scale than most and this is where I live/work/play :-) . A good book for you to read is @Joe Fairless's new one called "Best Ever Apartment Syndication". 

Have you considered doing an apartment syndication?
