Is there any Canadians investing in the US market?

Hey I am from Canada and I am interested in investing in the US market. Are there any other Canadians on here doing so? I would love some information. If any Americans with knowledge on this subject have information to share that would be greatly appreciated as well.\

Looking for any information on tax issues, Capital gains, the pros and cons of investing in another country, and where is a good place to start.

The numbers just seem to add up a lot better in the US then in Canada.
